SPPMIX R Package Resources

SPPMIX R Package: Poisson and related point process modeling using mixture models

Welcome to the sppmix R package resource page. The package was written by Sakis Micheas and Jiaxun Chen.

Please download the newer version of the package Here. (works with the later spatstat versions after CRAN made their radical changes). The package on the CRAN page Here requires the older version of spatstat.

Installation Instructions

Under the R GUI (download R Here)

From the menu choose: Packages->Install Package(s) from local files... and navigate to the directory you saved the package file and select it.

Under RStudio (download RStudio Here)

From the menu choose: Tools->Install Packages... and in the "Install from" field choose "Package Archive File (.zip;.tar.gz)". Then navigate to the directory you saved the package file and select it and finally click the "install" button.

Tutorials

Help pages (vignettes) with theory, applications and sample code can be found below. A manual can be found here. Note that due to the size of some of these files (a lot of plots) it might take a while to load a page. 

Also, note that if google docs opens the source of the tutorial file, simply click the download button and then click "open with" to see the page in the browser.
